DecisionLink to Introduce New FiberChem SensorFusion Products at the ISA EXPO/2000 Show in New Orleans
LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 21, 2000--FiberChem Inc. (OTCBB:FOCS) of Las Vegas and its subsidiary Intrex Data Communications Corp., operating under their DecisionLink banner, today introduced a new series of SensorFusion(TM) product solutions at the ISA trade show in New Orleans.
The ISA is the International Society of America for Measurement and Control. More than 28,000 attendees are expected to participate in ISA EXPO/2000. ISA says it is the world's largest instrumentation, systems, and automation exhibition and technical conference and the only forum to offer the newest products, technologies and industry trends. EXPO/2000 runs from Monday, Aug. 21, to Thursday, Aug. 24, 2000.
DecisionLink's product solutions integrate FiberChem's patented Digital Hydrocarbon Probe (DHP) sensor technologies and Intrex's wireless satellite and Internet communications technology called SensorFusion(TM). These products have been designed to use the ORBCOMM low-Earth orbit (LEO) satellite network, the Norcom Geosynchronous satellite network, and other wireless systems to provide two-way data transfer from fixed and mobile assets to our customer's desktop computer. These products will be showcased in ORBCOMM and ControlSat's sales centers at the trade show.
DecisionLink's new product line provides smaller, low-cost sensor and communication products that use satellite communications and the Internet as the backbone for data transfer and control. The Company believes these products will provide significant implementation and operational cost savings to the pipeline leak detection, aboveground storage tank monitoring, oil production, water quality monitoring and industrial wastewater compliance monitoring and control markets.
DecisionLink's Intrex Communications Group has developed a wide range of products including the monitoring of propane and oil fuel tank levels and compressors, as well as other multi-user applications for low-cost volume use of satellite communication pathways.
"We believe the ISA show is an ideal opportunity to display our newly merged company's products," said Geoff Hewitt, Chairman and CEO of FiberChem. "We believe these innovative solutions will provide existing and new FiberChem clients with greater communications functionality and control over their fixed and mobile assets." |
