Why not the Amsterdam Stock Exchange, or the German or Japanese stock exchanges, or, for that matter, the indexed value of the City of Rome since BC? <<The NYSE average has kicked gold's ass over that time frame, even including the recent difficulties.>> I do not want to, but will, remind folks that the market looks forward.
