Nick Foles, Chip Kelly can enjoy new life (click for story)
It was totally awesome Mike! Kelly i realize did the right thing and sitting Foles with 7 minutes to go and preventing being the first man in NFL history to throw for 8TDs in one game--OMG if he got injured in those last minutes.But doing a math scan, if had thrown for 8, it would be an untouchable records, as i suspect all those, what 7 other QBs that have done it: probably were sitting out in the 4th quarter because game was a rout.
Plus if got 8, the should get a Tsunami of media hype, thay i don't think a kid of 24 get hit with--it would have been overload. We need him keep his head as now must face Aaron Rodgers in GB.
But damned i will never forget the Kelly though Foles to wolfback just 2 weeks ago, by , to cover his butt, senied Foles has a Groin Strain, and thus be heavily disciplined by NFL for a phonet injury report. i hope Foles and Kelly had a man to man with Foles, saying the NFL could come down hard on him, it has to cover--NFL is severe about that injury report, because of Las Vegas--it could have disrupted the whole team.
But now people are saying how could have gone from a 39 QB-rating in his last game to PERFECT Score of 158.3 in his next game(158.3 the highest score the mathematics of QB-rating permits.
i hope Kendricks is ready next week. Demeco Ryan seems to be getting stronge and back perhaps to where he was, it is now 2 plus years since his knee got ripped up.(He was all-pro at the time) He had 10, count them, 10 SOLO tackles today. Maybe temporary, but at least i liked Patrick Chung at free safety today. And Brady Fletcher continues to indicate he can play in this league. i think we will see more and more of Vinny Curry.Foles two bombs one to Desean Jackson(55 yards/ about 67 yards in the air) and other to Cooper(63 yds and about 70 yards in the air) were great throws and sure hands by the receivers.Later, Max
