All I know is that Keely and Co have return objectives when they bid a project. I was told that at first, ATT didn't want IFCI's terms and that when the contract was signed, they were on IFCI's terms
Re why IFCI couldn't just go work on some other contract: If you have two contracts available to you, one more attractive than the other, if you go ahead and take the lesser one and think that you can "do" the other one (assuming you win it) after you finish with the first one, you may find that the client (ATT) has said, screw you, I will find another company to do my project. It's a calculated gamble and hopefully worth it.
