S.Korea takes the lead in Bolivia joongangdaily.joins.com thanks to LoneClone for this link. "Korea Resources Corp. announced that it has nailed down an agreement with the Bolivian government to develop the Lake Uyuni lithium deposit. The deposit has a lithium reserve of 5.4 million tons. Once production goes into full gear, an estimated 1,000 tons of lithium will be extracted every month starting in 2013.
