i am glad you were able to get out of that cave, since they are where bears tend to lurk, and out onto the road, which sounds like it was one of those good ones less travelled by. i hope on this adventure you ran into some of those salt of the earth folk who have promises to keep and intend to do so, otherwise i fear we will have miles to go before we sleep (though we can keep in mind the calming and mood benefitting effects of prln products).
one caveat emptor (since you already have a personal devil's advocate [rick, do you charge as much as a personal trainer? <grin>]) about this alice gal. most of us when we look in a mirror do not encounter the same sweet and delightful visage as she. also, as I recall, she didn't merely look into the mirror, she fell in (and that might not work as well for us as it did for her). subsequently, she benefitted from meeting a charming crew of folk who, at the least, provided her with all kinds of useful advice and information (things that some of us are finding to be in short supply). but i am very glad that you reminded us of that whole episode because has made realize, and i would bet all your prln shares on this, that while you were wandering that road you mentioned, clearly you also encountered, if not alice herself, some of those same good folk. i feel for certain, much to my envy, that you got to chum at least for awhile with that great good guy who observed that when he used a word it meant exactly what he wanted it to mean, no more and no less. <grin>
