Intel should have bought SanDisk 5-7 years ago. Instead they went shopping for about 20 mostly comm companies, spent Billion's, most of which lost money for years. Craig Barrett's reckless days.

Without NOR Intel would be a slightly smaller company but with much higher gross margins, after the effect of closing the excess fabs.
