Why is it that so few people follow this great company. And if all they did was anti-virus software(which many people believe that is all they do) they wouldn't be a great company. Who has paid for their software? I did out of gratitude (it cured my anti-cmos out of my system,) but if it never did anything for me I would have been perfectly happy to use their freeware. A company can't live off of gratitude. Of course businesses are paying for it, but they do a lot more than just that anyway, here is something I found (which I refer to alot, because I get good info there...) in an Internet newsletter...

McAfee develops and supports network security and management software products. The Company provides industry-leading network security products for anti-virus protection as well as client/server network management tools for software, support and desktop management. The Company is also a leader in electronic software distribution, which is the principal channel through which it distributes its products to large corporations, institutions and government entities. As of December 31, 1994, the Company's customers included 80 of the largest 100 companies in the most recent list of Fortune 500 industrial companies." Revenues have jumped from 7 million in 93 to 32 million in 94 tp 90 million in 95 with a profit margin around 80%.

Anyway, more than just anti-virus, one of my favorites.
