Company owned options can also be used to benefit insiders

Richard the article Jim posted brought back memory of a NOVL thread post which was suspicious of large puts bought by the company.

It reasoned executive's stock options may have been "insured" by this and disclosure is mininal , sometimes only a footnote on the annual report .

To add to this , NBR's guest last evening, Mr. Gabelle , revealed even "insider trading" may be a reporting smokescreen to mislead investors .

He tries to distinguish their "quality" is his service versus the free stuff we get from the SEC on the net .

Regards, Jim K.
