BCE also looks like it is a good investment. It seems to be doing many of the things ATT is not, and should be. I don't have time, right now to post my thinking on it. Will do later this weekend. The investor briefing in pdf for their Q2 is interesting. They are introducing Gig ethernet in some metropolitan centres. They have written down some good will. It doesn't appear they will have to write down a whole lot more, I think. They have a good income stream and have disposed of their more difficult subsidiaries and investments. Very interesting co. They own also a national newspaper and TV network as well as the usual telecom things. They are doing well with their data businesses. BCI subsidiary seems to be turning around. US folk would have to look at the currency risk, I think. FrankW
