Local shop has a 1977 Guild D 40 on the wall for $700.

If any one here is interested I'll take it down, play and inspect.

I haven't played on in years but they are big dreadnoughts with nice mids and without the annoying boomy dreadnought bass -- Unless you play bluegrass.
