Declining TV products are to be expected. I don't think they are promoting them. Just keeping the line open for their loyal customers. Not much sale's but large profit margin. They may drop out of it altogether when the brodcastors are requiring only HDTV recorders. But since the first consumers of HDTV will be the well healed who prefer the latest high quality product's do you think it is time for Ampex to get back in the consumer market? With HDTV's costing 6 to $10,000 how about a $4,000 HDTV VCR to go with that?
