Nevertheless, in the last two days, polls have shown Obama leading in New Hampshire, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, Nevada, and now, Michigan. This is after having weathered the storm of McCain's barrage, while just gearing up for his own. These polls don't even factor in the enthusiasm gap, volunteer gap, and sheer field resource advantages Barack has over McCain.

I'll close by saying that some folks around these parts who are newly minted Obama supporters may not be familiar with his tried and tested formula. His campaigns have always used a slow build up focusing first on groundwork, then peaking at the right time with a message that is both forceful in contrast, and uplifting at the same time. Just like he pivoted off the Jefferson Jackson Speech in Iowa to beat Clinton and Edwards, he'll sprint to the finish line post-Denver...>>
