This rarely works from what I have seen. Unless the ASK is what you are willing to pay your order dosent get filled. The same with a sale. Maybe its cause I use ETrade? I can see the BID/ASK options in real time quotes so I know they arent getting filled but they do show up. For stocks its not such a big deal and even in the spread gets filled a lot of times. But a spread of 1/4 or 1/2 on a $2 option like I said is 25%. where as on a $20 stock thats a lot lower.. Trading options in the short term kills the larger gains and looses more in a loss..
