TOO MANY ANALYSTS ARE JUST DAMN REPORTERS!!!!!!!!!!!

It irritates me to death........These people don't realize that people pay them, and will pay them MORE, to give credible, timely, insightful information about the industries/companies they follow.......some do a horrible job and others do a great job.....

Those recommending AOL right now should be taken out and SHOT in front of a firing squad....NO WAY IN HELL IT SHOULD sell for $90 -$110 as many analysts are setting for their target prices...ABSOLUTELY NO WAY!!!!! $20-$30 MAX.....And that's stretching it!!!!! SHOW ME EARNINGS.....they didn't in '94, '95, '96,.......All of a sudden they will make $2.00 +? I don't think so!!!!!!

I honestly am attempting to find a job as an analyst right now.....I know the telecommunications industry quite well and I am currently learning more about data networking to add to my arsenal of technology "know how"......

One final point..... Most of these guys/gals WANT TO BRING IN THE I-Bank deals!!!! That is where they can make some serious BUCKS in bonuses.....Guess what folks....when you piss off the CEO/CFO of a company by downgrading their stock and reducing their net worth your odds go straight out the door IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!!!

Take care

Dan Ross
