Telephonics.. First may I say that I am not an official spokesperson for COII and suggest you call CTI again personally to have your question addressed. That being said, drawing from my past DD on the company, I believe the expected contract was around 1995. At that time CTI entered three contracts with the Peoples Republic Of China for and extensive network of their system among Chinese hospitals.

Because these contracts required the Chinese government to fund the project in a very definitized way, the current financial crisis in the Pacific rim affected these contracts and they were put on hold. I do not have information on General Secord, sorry.

CTI continues to probe the Chinese Ministry of Health on this matter because eventually China will be a great market for their system

The Board of Directors at CTI does not deem it wise to expend significant funds pursuing the project at this time. Their primary focus remains on US markets, FDA approval, and becoming a fully reporting company with the SEC. ( foreseeing any problems, SEC status my be here by Jan.) I'm happy to say they are progressing nicely with their goals.
