That's the million-dollar question - WHEN they ship -

If they wait much longer, DVD will be here (digital video-disc), it too is 4+ Gig Optical, Low media prices, and, I hear, backward compatible with current CD-Rom's. I've given up on the APEX. Time will tell, I don't think it (Apex) will ever ship in time to be a viable player.
