Rupert and/or Ken: Some excellent info here..Please comment
on the following statements/questions:

1. T1/E1 => 1.5/2.0 Mbps correct. Effectively delivered by Westell,
Aware/ADI ? and Amati. This is of course downstream. Who has
the best T1 product with best down/up ratio ? I mean with an
upstream rate of at least 128 Kbps ?

2. The next level up from T1 is around 4 Mbps based on
aware's DWMT product. And then a 6 Mbps ADSL solution
from Westell (CAP based), Amati (DMT based). Anyone, else
have something shipping in test quantities ?

3. Amati, Westell and Pairgain are pure plays as somebody
mentioned previously. Amati, Pairgain and Aware though seem
to have the answer to the complete solution. Technology,
product and chipsets. Aware is not public yet. That leaves
Amati and Pairgain as the pure plays ADSL and HDSL respectively.
Though Pairgain is developing their own chipsets/ADSL solution.

The main question is, who has next level of products in
terms of data rate (above T1/E1) ?

Many thanks for any comments....

Regards

Tango
