Ross, With that thing jumpin all over the place (VIX and not Clinton), I use an indicator to sort out the volatily of the volatility! The interesting thing about this indicator is that it usually tracks what the DOW is doing even though it is based on VIX. Since early August it has been moving up smartly and diverges significantly with DOW. That is the basis for my WAG on an explosive move to the upside. That and the contained moves above this resistance level! BWDIK? Bill
