At .5x's 1997 revenue of $11.5 billion, price per share would equal $38.33; Imagine that--that is lower than today's price. .5x's revenue is rediculous you say. Take a look at the Semiconductor equipment stocks. (No need to respond; I understand Iomega is a paradigm shift and a potential monopoly). I hope you folks are right about the market acceptance of Zip and Jaz because it is a long way down if you're wrong. Further, do not underestimate the market's ability to change perceptions swiftly and go to opposite extremes.
I've been in this game for twenty years, and every day I am still in awe of both the stock market's ability as well as the free market's ability to humble the mighty.
