Perhaps this is a message to put your money where the major gorillas are and let the lower tiers clear things up.

I think this is the reason that Russell 2000 drops to its 52-week low when Dow 30 hovers around its all time high. But in the long run, small cap can beat the large ones. Survival for the fittest, not the fattest.
