I found a story that may or may not be related.Seems a company by the name of Quantegy acquired the 3M tape and Audio media.This leaves Quantegy as the remaining sole American provider . According to the Article Quantegy manufactures and distributes Ampex and Quantegy Audio tapes and related Media.This mean anything to anybody? Charles
