thecow, I too have had cable problems for a week now. Sometimes it is normal with blazing speed, too often it slows to a crawl - much worse than dial-up. Had a technician out here Wednesday and of course it worked well when he came. Today another technician is scheduled to investigate the cable outside the house. Customer service says there's high packet loss when they ping.

I hope they find the problem, because when it works it's great. I'll not install the wireless access point/router until cable has been reliable for at least a month.
