Yes, there is no doubt in my opinion that Brinker would have gained much more respect, even with the people who lost money on his bad QQQQ call, if he had acted truly sorry about it instead of trying to "hide and defend".

I agree with you about his hiding the call, but he has, in fact, admitted being wrong about QQQQ on several occasions, and I'm not aware of his having defended it.
