PSINet and HP kick off e-commerce strategy sessions for Canadian businesses
Series Marks expansion of Global Strategic Alliance in Canada
TORONTO, Feb. 14 /CNW/ - PSINet Limited, a wholly owned Canadian subsidiary of PSINet (NASDAQ: PSIX), the Internet Super Carrier and HP Canada, announced the kick off of a breakfast series aimed at educating Canadian businesses on the benefits of e-commerce. Featuring a keynote by Chuck Martin, New York Times best-selling author and chairman and CEO of Net Future Institute, attendees will also hear the first of a six-part e-commerce strategy delivered by senior executives from both PSINet and HP. The series is a launch of a Canadian e-commerce strategy for PSINet and HP, an expansion of a global alliance. The aim is to educate Canadian businesses on why and how they can and should integrate e-commerce into their business strategy. Current trends, product offerings, and common pitfalls are all part of the first session. It is expected that over 100 executives will attend the sessions, all taking place in Toronto between February and July, with the final session being held in PSINet's new data centre.
