flapp: If the people making "150-250 grand a year"...don't make money, and if taxes take it all, WHERE do you think the capital comes from to fund the engine of our economy...the SMALL business....!!! Workers at ANY level, and at ANY salary won't have jobs if the companies can't/don't make a profit.
And NO, you weren't right. Only a FEW bad apple company EMPLOYEES have caused the damage to their companies, the stock holders of their company, the employees of that company, and themselves. You DO know, I'm sure, that there are HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS of companies in the US, and perhaps MILLIONS.
I'm sure we hope that EVERYONE of the crooks is in jail for a long, long time. Whoever they are.
What continues to be curious to me is the age group of the folks who were accused of fraud so far. Not too many WWII generation folks in this group. I think someday there will be studies on the WHY's of this whole cycle.... I think we will see it will be shown that the late boomer generation had an excess number of "I want it now, It's my due, I'll take it and run" folks. |
