If options expiration has no effect on stock prices

Are you really under the impression that market movements on options expiration dates means option sellers move the markets in ways they control? Hint: Option sellers sell calls AND puts.

Then using the calendar for stock "bets" should be about the same probability as using a coin toss

Given that options don't expire every day, I still don't understand what your theory is. Do you wait for that one day in the month and then... do what?

edit .. we're not talking about a court case .. we're talking about making a buck or two ..

I hope it works for you. Still didn't understand what your reasoning is, though...
