NO... Initial IPO share allocation is not available at every brokerage.

There were several brokerages that helped place the shares for this IPO just as in every IPO...

In general only the best customers for those brokerages will get any shares... And I think deals are done with those good customers or they feel obligated to buy some of the not so "hot" IPOs too.

In the case of Ebay...Etrade's allocation of the shares followed specific rules...

Follow the link I provided...Sign up as a user on Etrade"s site.. i believe then you can see the IPO info...

If you had Put in a "market" order prior to the IPO.. you would have paid the price which the stock opened at.. in this case.. Ebay opened in the 50s...
