HI Todd: Just in case you didn't read my last post, check into
wireless local loop..it could really expload into the internet
market..not only is it faster ( it makes you like part of
the server )..but it cuts out the need for the ISP to bring in
so many local telco lines..( the largest expence to an ISP..is
the local comercial lines it has to have ..( one for each modem )
this being able to end run the local telcos..is going to create
one heck of a demand for the WWL tech..and it looks like the
units for the end users will not any more expensive than modems,
USRX better get busy or they will be history. I think WWL is
going to move into most ISPs and it could happen fast.
Here agine the smaller independent ISPs will be miles ahead of
any centralized system such as ALO..the mountain of little
ISPs can make the switch with out a 10th of the hassels
it'l take the bigger companies...the improved speed will sink
the old tech faster than the Titanic..with WWL you don't
need a modem..your like hooked up with a network card, going
to your radio unit..and linking you to the server.
