I am not sure what they mean by distribution, other than they facilitate the movement (distribution) of products for shippers. As to the just in time shipping mode, I would think that someone like EXPD who can arrange, book, handle, do the paperwork out and into the countries at either end, handle insurance, etc., and do it expeditiously and w/o a hickup is just what a shipper would want to handle many smaller shipments using j-i-t mode. BTW, EXPD seems to be solidly back from the price retreat it took a few months back. I like EXPD as one of my buy and hold stocks and it is my largest holding.
