There is a possibility of Spectrum having 3 games in the top 10 about 2 months from now.

I have recently talked to a number of Magic: The Gathering card game fans and they are waiting for the CD ROM version with great anticipation.

In their opinion, this game will outsell Civ II simply because of the addict type mentality that is prevalent amongst Magic: The Gathering players.

They are not only looking forward to Magic: The Gathering for the game portion but also the fact that it will have a database of most of the Magic: The Gathering cards in print.

Even if the game was worthless, I have heard people will buy it simply because people could take these cards on the CD-ROM and print them out.... a much cheaper alternative than paying $100.00 for a super card one might require in standard card tournments.

The gaming network aspect of Magic: The Gathering is also being met with great anticipation by fans of the game.

Master of Orion 2 also has a large following (myself included) and is going to sell like hot cakes.

There is a strong possibility that Spectrum Holobyte will have 3 games in the top 10..... something that has NOT happened for a very long time from any company in the computer gaming industry.
