Any thoughts on Kopin's smart slide imaging device. They
recently announced a 1024x768 color device the in 1 inch square
which can either be projected for light weight computer
monitors or used in virtual reality headsets, or as conference
presentation devices. Did anyone see their presentation at
the conference? It is essentially a tiny AMLCD but has low
cost production characteristics because it uses semiconductor
processes. Any comments or criticisms of the smart slide as
an alternative imaging approach? Thanks.
