I understand your concerns, but I don't think they're well founded. It is a common practice for companies to offer stock at a discount to individuals that agreed to hold stock for two years (restricted from selling stock for two years) It doesn't mean that the stock is worth $.65; it's worth as much as the market decides. Only those investors who commit themselves to holding the stock for two years get the discount.
