Mark, just listed a rental condo I have,expect to get $77K after fees, this was returning me $450 a month after all expenses except interest. I look at these nbrs and think it would be easy to do better with REIT's and much better diversity. Bottom line the reason I'm selling is that REIT's are a better investment than a small scale condo rental, and as a small investor who doesn't want to get into renting out semis with basement apartments or small apartment buildings I think this is the way to go.
