Excellent, excellent article -- thanks for linking to it. From a technology POV, sounds as if tools that allow on-the-spot modification and remodification will win out over those centered on predesign and mass production. Wind's development tools may become preferred to ready-made RTOS solutions. Similarly, in chips, perhaps more interest in combining "soft cores" rather than getting cores built in (Cadence would be the stock play here). And of course, PLD over ASIC (I'm long on Altera). Any other "bigthink" thoughts?
