Steve. I didn't take it as criticism. I just saw that you had mentioned the brevity so I wanted to explain the bevity. That's all.

This is a definiton that I posted before:

The techniques for the pivot are developed by short term oriented
traders. It is most commonly used by traders on floors of various
exchanges, scalpers, other brokers, and market makers, as well as a
host of other short term oriented traders.

The Pivot is essentially a mechanism for analyzing short term supply
and demand factors affecting the market place.

Pivot is a point of inflection in the market, w/ bullish sentiment
above the pivot and bearish below. Pivot works best in markets with
a wide daily trading range.

The break point I created on my own and added along with the pivot point. I did this because I wanted a neutral area and to make it easier to 'define' a bull or bear trend.
