14:35 ET Dow -72, Nasdaq -6, S&P -7.89: [BRIEFING.COM] Looking at the intraday chart, the Nasdaq has a good solid floor today at the 2,044 level. Briefing.com identified 2,043 as a very near-term support level this morning which we'll count as close enough. The afternoon activity has slowed substantially and the Nasdaq's range has narrowed concurrently. Light afternoon volume on a Friday can lead to late day volatility which means traders should be wary towards the close. On the broader markets, telecomm equipment, chips, tobacco and energy related issues continue to exhibit strength.
