It appears, to me at least, like this whole thing has calmed down. I think everyone is realizing, finally, that Asia is really not going to do all that much to our economy. We are still down more than 10% since Aug. (something I just learned last week), so are PE's still to high? I agree with the deflation notion, but I think the FED can solve that one by putting more money into the economy (to a point, of course).
You dont sound cynical, just cautious and no one can balme you for that. I think the market will get back on course, not like it was, but the small investor group seems to have ridden out the recent madness without a panic. So long as nothing makes too much money flow out of the big funds, and that seems to have stopped.
I happen to think AVE is about as good as were going to get it. I dont think it will fall back to the 40's and if it does, it wont stay there for long. The call of the 30's- now that sounded cynical. Im going to wait a few days just for safekeeping, but Im thinking of getting back in before its too late. |
