DecisionLink and MCS Europe Win Approval to Distribute Propane Tank Monitoring Products Across Europe
LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 31, 2001--DecisionLink Inc. (OTCBB:DLNK - news) today announced that its propane tank monitoring product (known as TankLink in the United States and TankSat in Europe) has successfully passed all requirements to carry the CE Mark.

The CE Mark indicates conformity to a common level of safety and is required for free movement of goods throughout Europe. The testing process was carried out on DecisionLink's behalf by Andronics Ltd., the MCS Europe solution reseller in the United Kingdom, Ireland and Portugal.

TankLink/TankSat is a proprietary product developed specifically for the high-volume residential propane and home heating oil tanks.

According to Andrea Cendali Pignatelli, managing director of MCS Europe, DecisionLink's exclusive distributor for Europe and a subsidiary of Telespazio (Telecom Italia group): ``The market for the DecisionLink technology is very large in Europe, perhaps as many as 7 million tanks for propane alone and many more for home heating oil.

``There is a high level of interest in this technology on the part of the major suppliers to the market, which is very important to our company. MCS Europe/Telespazio will be exhibiting the product at the AEGPL European propane conference, being held from June 13th to 15th in Sorrento, Italy. The company has extended invitations to more than 120 European propane companies.''

Peter Lagergren, chief technology officer of DecisionLink, said: ``This approval allows us to move ahead from single-unit pilot devices to soliciting revenue-generating multiple-unit programs as the next stage in our European market development. CE Mark certification is accepted as an international `seal of approval.'''

DecisionLink's Intrex Data Communications Group has developed a wide range of products for monitoring of propane and fuel oil tank levels, pipeline compressors and many other multiuser remote asset monitoring applications for low-cost volume use of satellite communication pathways and the Internet.
