End of Day Data (EODDATA.COM) is free. I do have a free membership. They had downloadable files or downloaders to support different software formats such as METASTOCK. AIQ software has a data conversion utility to import from files that resulted from EODDATA, YAHOO finance, or other sources as long as I set up a template for quotes for each source . I haven't used EODDATA in a long time. With the use of ETFs, I've gotten away from looking at a lot of stocks or doing scans.

My problem was that the SSD no longer saved writes after I powered down the PC. My data is stuck at 10/15. Any attempt to update the software would fail.

I'm told by AIQ that I can run the installer under Administrator on my new Windows 11 system. I will probably switch to stockcharts.
