WJ - both of your recent posts suggest potential inflation, which might mean a bottom for gold.

Trend is clearly deflationary. But interesting is Greenspan going out of his way to tell us inflation, already low, is overstated. Uncharacteristic for somone that's always talking about the potential dangers of inflation--around the corner--even when there is none.

Also interesting is Greenspan's talk about equities more in line with proper valuations, even when the DOW is higher than when the original irrational exuberance speech was made.

May signal the beginning of a more inflationary fed policy. On the other hand, there's already too much debt and this economy is overextended. They're between a rock and a hard place.

I say wait for some insider buying in the mining industry.
