Powerwave Technologies Finalizes Agreement With Motorola
SANTA ANA, Calif., Jun 29, 2001 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Powerwave Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq: PWAV chart, msgs) today announced that it has finalized an agreement with Motorola Inc. (NYSE: MOT chart, msgs) to become the exclusive external supplier of ultra-linear high-powered multi-carrier RF power amplifiers for use with Motorola's SC4812T cellular base stations.

The supply agreement is for a period of three years. Powerwave had previously announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding regarding this supplier arrangement on March 20, 2001. No dollar value was placed on the agreement.
