This is pretty funny. Let's pick it apart, shall we? Why not. NOK is flatlining here as fully expected and posted; I'm bored.

Nokia’s failure will only drive it to succeed, claims expert | T3
Smith claims both Microsoft and Nokia are being aggressive in their attempt to lure back top developers to create apps for the Windows 8 platform - a recent Microsoft announcement of an 80 per cent profit share for developers adds weight to his claims.

Apple offers app developers a far less attractive 30 per cent.

That's a plus? Did the expert fail to notice developers are flocking to Apple because even with their measly 30 cut they clean up, due to the massive volume of downloads in iOS land? How many people download Windows Phone apps, expert? An 80% cut of a 1.9% smartphone market ain't exactly gonna make Softie app developers rich, now is it, expert?
“Their biggest advantage is that there are still 1bn desktops out there and sometime over the course of next year, we’re all going to be upgraded to Windows 8, so the ability to connect with Windows 8 devices with your phone is going to be huge.”
Faulty logic, expert. Most of those 1bn Windows desktop folks already own an iPhone or an Android and guess what? SURPRISE! It connects to their crappy, crash prone, nasty, hateful Windows PC, presto chango. WHY would they switch to some BS, butt ass ugly, untested, unfamiliar niche phone OS, expert? Would you, expert? I sure as hell would not! Unless you stick PureView into that Windows POS. Even then I'd opt for the Nokia 808 cause Symbian is a gorgeous, easy for my eyes OS, compared to that nasty, tiled, ugly colored W8 mess!

I'm just gonna ignore the rest of that fluff piece. Completely irrelevant and pie in the sky. Never gonna happen.
