Bush will fail his Reagan copy-cat act and here's why. Reagan was a communicator, a warm charmer, a geuninely funny guy and let's face it, a movie star. That's the only reason he could sell 51% of Americans on rightwing ideas really supported only by about 21%. Bush is trying the same thing and simply cannot pull it off. You can see this now in the polls. Most people think Bush is too much of an ideological extremist and we're on the wrong track. Bush is a bit of a deer li the headlights instead of a real man type like Reagan (or Kerry). And election year conversions don't count.
