US-West LTD to Equity is over 7 ??? How could GBLX possibly have swallowed that? How can QWST? Man, you have to have some kind of free cash flow to pay that down. Well, since I just posted a rant regarding financing and Mr. Winnick's prowess . . . let me propose this: We got out of the deal $400MM richer, correct? Perhaps our friend knew that USWest would probably be in play and wanted to get in on the action . . . could this have been one of the largest arbitrages of the year? Long shot but . . . :-)
