Orhan,

If you think your stocks is going to stay for good (1-2) year, you might have the following option.

1. like what you said, sell out-of-money leaps, gain one-time preimum.
2. sell the stock and buy some other stocks that are going to
preform better.
3. sell short-term out-of-money covered calls, collects multiple
premiums.
