Garth & Wolfram. Pleased to know someone else is upbeat about this company.
It's my understanding that CP was once part of the giant,'Private' Bechtel Corp. CP went public last year, sold stock to raise cash to expand the number of stores.
I think you would agree the U.S. is 'overstored' in almost every metropolitan area. CP has a great niche. Gourmet/import foods, beer & wine, furniture, clothing, home accessories etc. This makes them immune from changing styles & tastes with the public. They are diversified in their product line which makes it hard for some competitor to come along & steal their customers. Even though the stock is an IPO, the company is far from it. They've had a tried & true formula for years
now, so it's hard to fathom anything short of recession derailing earnings growth. As they expand, more customers & investors will become familiar with CP & that in turn should spur demand for for the stock.
I got in @ $25.25. Good luck to all of us
