Re:NG flow measurement

I work for TCPL and am quite involved with the flow measurement equipment. I can tell you that I don't know what this equipment is or how it works but it doesn't stand a chance of breaking into our market. The flow measurement equipment is highly governed and goes through rigorous government testing for reliability and accuracy. We are currently converting our old turbine meters for Ultrasonics. This has taken three years for approval. When 6.5 billion cubic feet a day go through an international export point, It has to be the best (And thats a small export line). There are 104 export points between Cambridge and Montreal up to North Bay which export to Union and Consumer's. This is not a huge market for measurement. As far as measurement for home consumers replacing existing meters from your supplier, I can't see it happening. Suppliers are not going to replace meters which are more than adequate at measuring low pressure low volume natural gas usage.

Just my 2 cents worth. See if you can find out more about the application of these products and the intended market and I'll see if I can provide more insight for you.
