Hi Russ. Mr. Caldwell has an account on RB and has posted a few times to the ESXS thread there:

ragingbull.com

The company was approved for the Pink Sheets in mid-May. I'm not surprised you could not find much about Mr. Caldwell in the Sport Supply (GYM) filings. GYM has a lot of problems, some of which IMHO stem from not recognizing those whose hard work contributes to the bottom line. Here is his bio which I got from some company literature:

"Bruce Caldwell is President and CEO of the Corporation; Mr. Caldwell is the founder of FiberSport, Inc., a track and field company active in the 80's, that provided the vaulting pole that won the gold medal and world record in the 1980 Olympics. He was employed as the General Manager of PORTaPIT International, a division of Sport Supply Group, Inc. from 1991 to 1998. PORTaPIT was an all but abandoned brand name which was brought back to a record $5.2 million in sales, culminating with the contract to supply all equipment for 14 sports to the 1996 Olympic Games. He served as Director of the Olympic Equipment logistics for the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games and equipment logistics for the Malaysian Games (Sukma 1998). Mr. Caldwell is also the Author of The Elusive Bar, a comprehensive book on Pole Vaulting. " He also invented the first vaulting pole designed specifically for women.

As for compensations for the Olympians, I believe they were given a modest amount of 144 stock and have made arrangements to distribute their products through ESXS -- The training hurdle you see on the web site was invented by Earl Bell and is really revolutionary.

The web site is being updated as we speak (see above link to RB post from Mr. C.)

The company does trade, but not much volume -- that's because it is on the Pinks and hardly anyone knows about it yet. When they get on the OTCBB later this year that should change.

As for my investing style: Some of it is by plan some by accident. I decided a long time ago it was impossible to "buy low and sell high" if you did anything other than that. Thus some of my long-term investments were not intended to be that way in the beginning (grin, sort of...). In answer to your question, I have invested in some shells along the way. And several have become viable. Some have not...yet.

Remember the story of the tortoise and the hare? Well, some tortoises are slower than others.

I believe this tortoise just got a prescription for viagra (smile). In any case, they have a good plan and some good support, so I think they have a good chance to make it.

hope this helps
