Mark, I'm not stalking you, and I'm not following you. I make my own picks, I trade my own stocks, I do my own homework, and the fact of the matter is that I am probably a better long-term, medium-term and short-term trader than you are. You got me on the FA, and that's cool. I get my FA from people that wrote the books you read, and I can beat you in any exchange of Snotty Dialog. I could start my own site and collect money and be a guru. But it's not my style. I think people should learn to do it themselves, not take advice from other people. I think that the more control an investor has, the better off he is. It has nothing to do with you personally. I am sure you are a fine person, Mark.

If I were stalking you, I would be sending you PMs, constantly bothering you, and being mean and nasty.

I've sent you no PMs, I don't constantly bother you, and I'm not mean and nasty.

Actually, I'm pretty much like you in most respects. We both have a strong interest in the stock market and investing. When this site was owned by the Brad and Jeff, the idea was for regular people to get together and discuss ideas about investing and other topics. The idea was not to earmark a whole section of the site for some guy to create a bunch of threads that have no messages on them.

A thread with no messages on it is not a thread, it's a post disguised as a thread. A post disguised as a thread that has a bunch of ads on it annoys me.

That's why I posted to you. It's annoying to me. If you want a reference area, you can create one for about $150 dollars. You buy a domain and you pay an ISP to support the site. It's about $100.00 bucks a month. You know this, and yet you create this stuff on SI.

I understand that this thing of yours is a real simple and cheap way to get yourself onto the Internet and try and make some money.

My beef is that I don't agree that this site should have your ideas for making money, disguised as threads with no posts on them, as a purpose for this site. I actually think your whole deal is antithetical to the original concept that Jeff and Brad had.

So as long as I'm a member of the site, then you should anticipate my voicing my annoyance.

I hope you understand.

And it's Mr. Extra Mighty Chicken Brains to you. <G>
